We're looking forward to the first virtual Global Women’s Leadership Network DC Sister Society meeting on Sept. 18, 10 to 12 noon ET. The agenda is designed to bolster your resilience, provide some virtual networking, and keep you and your organization moving forward.
As leaders, we’ve had to adapt to the changing work environment and manage the impact on our teams and members. Our meeting will feature Laurie Maddalena, CEO of Envision Excellence, a leadership consulting firm, presenting Building Resilience in Challenging Times, which will help deepen an understanding of how we cope with the unexpected and explore its effects on leadership. Attendees will learn how to identify opportunities for improved resilience and strategies for coping and leading in stressful situations.
Each participant will also complete the Hardiness Resilience Gauge™ (HRG). The HRG assessment is grounded in over 30 years of research and development and provides valuable insight into an individual’s level of hardiness and their ability to cope with stressful and unexpected situations. The HRG focuses on the three C’s – Control, Commitment, and Challenge.
While we cannot be together, we can certainly still support each other in elevating women personally, professionally and within our communities. Help Us Support Women in our Area - House of Ruth, which supports victims of domestic violence in Baltimore, has created an Amazon wish list for items that are desperately needed by their clients. We urge you to make a donation.
This virtual event is open to all. Thank you to sponsors Allied Solutions and FIS. Register Today!
